01/10/24 Beginning Quilting Continued Trip Around The World
We will be making a Trip Around The World quilt as we continue to build on our quilting skills. The focus will be on making accurate 1/4 seams and on squaring up blocks. Join us if these are skills you need practice with or if you just need a few evenings of sewing for fun. Class is 5 weeks long. Wednesday evenings from 5pm-7:30pm starting January 10th through February 7th. Cost is $100.00 Teacher - Sharon Hale Supply List: Start by selecting a multi-colored print, a large scale will work best. Choose additional colors in either contrasting or coordinating fabric. Use a variety of ranges from lights to dark. If using other prints, make sure they are smaller scale. This is a great quilt for using prints that read as solids. Fabric requirements: BABY…1/2 yard of 5 different fabrics LAP…2/3 yard of 5 different fabrics TWIN…3/4 yard of 6 different fabrics QUEEN…7/8 yard of 8 different fabrics KING1 yard of 10 different fabrics The above requirements do not include borders or bindings
