Sugar is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin so it will actually help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. Also, sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid which dissolves old and dead skin cells revealing fresher, younger-looking skin. We added grass fed tallow and organic castor oil to hydrate thirsty skin, leaving it balanced, soft, and nourished. This scrub is paired with organic tea tree essential oil which provides amazing antifungal properties that are great for stinky feet or reducing infections in otherwise heavily flaky skin where pathogens can hide and fester.
