1980 Richard Sachs

If the Mona Lisa had 2 wheels and could fit a 35, it'd be this 1980 Richard Sachs. This is one of those grail bikes that I have always dreamed of working on and getting the chance to ride. They rarely come up for sale, especially such an early model. The craftsmanship is as you'd expect...perfect. There are no interruptions in the lines. Everything flows perfectly together. If you close your eyes and run your fingers across the frame, you can feel how every millimeter was intentional. It's hard to explain how this bike has made me feel in the short time owning it. Who knows if I'll ever see one again!! Which makes this blip in time with it that much more special.  It's in great condition, but shows sign of use. The frame only has a few small paint chips. No dents, bends, or cracks. New tires, cloth bar tape, brake hoods, cables, and chain have been installed. It's currently running a 35 Gravel King with room to spare.
