Trek Tri-Series "City Slayer"
The Trek Tri-Series was the perfect starting point when I decided to build a bike that would have the ability to shred any city you find yourself in. I was so excited when my two buddies came back after finding this frame in an alley! We could see all the potential this bike would bring. The frame is a 1986 and is made from the famous Reynolds 531 tubes. The tubes were all meticulously brazed and joined together using silver resulting in a stronger overall frame. All other parts were sourced from another bike that was donated. This bike comes equipped with a 1x7 with a 42t chainring in the front and a range of 13t-30t on the rear cassette. These ratios are so much fun in the city! I had a lot of fun building this bike and want to see someone have just as much fun shredding it!! The paint has seen better days and there is a dime sized dent in the top-tube.
