My name is Ana Sáenz and I’m from Costa Rica. I started baking since I was 4 years old with my grandmother, she is my inspiration to start this business. She baked every single one of birthday cakes until I was probably 15 years old; ever since my passion for baking grow with years and I decided to make a career out of it. The Magical Spatula was created when I started at Brightwater Culinary School 3 years ago, mainly baking for my friends and family; until decided to open officially to the public as business this past January 2022.
