Fig Jam

Figs and Valencia Oranges grow side-by-side in our garden. What began as a plate of complimentary fruit, is now this uber thick condiment. Our jams use 1/2 the sugar of regular jam recipes and we use no pectin so we are truly concentrating the flavors into a jar. The Brits would call this a "conserve", similar to our "preserves".
