As an homage to east coast deli sandwiches, LA's favorite east coast transplant Rebecca King (AKA The Bad Jew) teams up with Chef Sammi of Layla Bagels to bring the west coast a taste of NY's favorite sandwich: the Bacon Egg and Cheese, with a delightfully unkosher twist... Introducing: The Notorious P.E.C. Porkstrami.Egg.Cheese. In this rendition, Chef Sammi and Chef King swap bacon for another salty, porky, totally unkosher and delicious substitute: The Bad Jew's signature Porkstrami ™ Sandwiched between LA's favorite sourdough bagel, with velvety scrambled eggs and melty New School American Cheese. What's more, a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit RE:Her, an organization dedicated to empowering female identifying food and drink entrepreneurs. We'll see you Thursday, March 9th.
