Yes, that's right, a musical Lusterware Teapot! This stunning teapot collection, by Yamayo Grace China, of a romantic lavender and translucent mother-of-pearl and gold decoration is highlighted by an artistically whimsical teapot that plays "Tea For Two" as a Fragonard reproduction displays a courting couple dancing amid whirls of gold leaf ornamental work. Lift the teapot and the music starts. Lower it to rest and the music stops. From the teapot to the lid opening, surrounded by an amusing ruffled edge design, also seen on the sugar bowl, to the gorgeous hourglass shaped pedestal teacups, wide, and set upon reticulated saucers, all encompassed by a seductive lavender, it seems nothing was held back. Add the brilliance of luster and you have a perfect show stopper that will truly grace any home decor. Hand wash is recommended. Please,no microwave use. Origin: Yamayo Grace China Co., Japan, c. 1950's. Pre-owned Dimensions/ Quantity : Teapot (1) 7 1/2"H x 9"W (spout to handle) Cups (6)
