1920's Dress with Circular Skirt and Cape

Made from a sheer cotton/Poly voile fabric in yellow floral. The upper is a 20's-flavored sheath with long bust darts. Decorated at the V-Neck with a circular cape and bell sleeves, trimmed with white lace and small self-bow. The skirt is a full circle, high in the front, low in the back, also lace-trimmed. Hand-wash or Dry Clean. Size medium, modern dress size 10-12. The dressform modeling the dress measures 39" bust, 29" waist, and 39" hip. A few inches in either direction should fit fine. Dress pulls over head, no zipper. My days as a costume designer in Regional Theatre are now 25 years behind me, which means I've been doing contemporary and retro clothing design for a quarter century. About 7 years ago, a local Mardi Gras Krewe approached me about doing a runway show to raise money for charity. The theme was "Roaring 20's", which is a period I love for fashion.  I said yes because I thought it would be fun, even though I knew the outfits would likely hang on my sale rack for years
