All Small Potatoes

Oil, oil pastels and spray paint on wood board 16x20 When I reflect on the things that are happening in my life in comparison to what is occurring all over the world right now, it’s hard to feel anything at all for myself. It can be difficult for me to imagine my life as being significant, or complex, when all of these terrible things are happening to so many other humans simultaneously. What I am going through isn’t just small potatoes, but it can feel that way when the world is literally burning.
