A charming set of 50 unused Christmas Seals from 1959. During this era, the Christmas Seals were a fundraising program for the National Tuberculosis Association which eventually became the American Lung Association. The seals were purchased for charity and used to decorate Christmas presents, Christmas card envelopes, etc.The design of the seals changed every year. In 1959, they features two styles - a boy and girl bundled up for the cold weather feeding birds and woodland creatures. Two sheets of 50 are available, each sold separately.
