BGX Gallery 192 Front Street NY, NY 10038 January 23-28, 2026 BGX Homecoming will be three culminating events to mark the sunset of our gallery in the Seaport after nearly 9 years. What is a homecoming? It is a time for people to return to a common place of connection. For our friends, members, supporters, and future friends, we invite you to reflect on our time celebrating the impact of the African Diaspora on New York City. The gallery will be open Friday and Saturday 12pm to 7pm for the final weekend of our current exhibition Crowned by Tradition featuring 13 resonant photographs by Mama Tradition.  January 23 | Friday evening, our brother Jahmedicine will set the tone, spinning from 6pm - 10pm. During the day will be an Open House to share and record stories.  January 24 | Saturday evening is the closing reception of Crowned by Tradition that we will be graced with the presence of the artist Mama Tradition. Our Nerdy Thursdays resident DJino will keep the vibes going from 6pm - 1
