Gorgeous Empire-style rosewood secretary desk from the turn of the century with Biedermeier influences. • four-way matched rosewood veneer • single center drawer• built in cubbies with a second smaller drawer in the interior• figured maple writing surface• drawer and front both lock with the included keyThis is in great vintage condition. Some veneer repairs have been carried out and a new lacquer finish has been applied. The inside of the drawer shows wear. Everything is structurally sounds and works as it should.
