Abelia 'Sunshine Daydream'
Pre-order now for delivery in April-May! A beautiful small shrub that’s excellent for low hedges and attracts pollinators. Sunshine Daydream® Abelia is a dense, compact shrub prized for its bright golden-yellow foliage that holds its color through the growing season and develops warm orange to copper tones in fall. From late spring through summer and often into fall, clusters of soft pink, tubular flowers appear against the vibrant foliage, adding long-lasting color and attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Planting: Plant in full sun to partial sun for best foliage color. Space plants about 3–4 feet apart to allow for mature growth (typically reaching 3–4 feet tall and wide). It performs best in well-drained soil and can be planted in masses to create a colorful hedge or border. Light pruning after flowering will help maintain a tidy shape. Arrives to you in a 3 gallon container.
