Dianthus 'Silver Star'

  Dianthus hybrida 'Silver Star' This variety of Dianthus features showy semi-double, white flowers with maroon blotches in the center that bloom from spring through to summer. Flowers have a subtle fragrance and make an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun with well drained garden soil. Heat tolerant, these beauties will continue to bloom when spent flowers are removed. Deer resistant and attractive to pollinators.  Perfect to edge borders or as a great contrast in rock gardens and in containers. Plant in the garden with Campanula, Creeping Phlox, Daylilies, Penstemon and Echinacea as companions.  Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot.
