Dianthus Sunflor® 'Luigi'

Dianthus caryophyllus Sunflor® 'Luigi' This variety of Dianthus forms a low clump of grassy green foliage that produces double salmon colored flowers that bloom from spring to summer. Flowers have a subtle fragrance and make an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun with well drained garden soil. Heat tolerant, these beauties will continue to bloom when spent flowers are removed. Deer resistant and attractive to pollinators.  Perfect to edge borders or as a great contrast in rock gardens and in containers. Plant in the garden with Campanula, Creeping Phlox, Daylilies, Penstemon and Echinacea as companions.  Arrives to you in a quart-sized pot, as shown in photo 4.
