3" Red Vapor Barrier Construction Tape

Uses Our 3" RED vapor barrier tape is designed for applications like Stucco® prep and masking for painting projects. 4" wide RED tape available HERE. It can also be used to seam vapor barrier sheeting on new construction. Any applications that need a flexible and durable tape would be suitable. If you plan to use in an application where you will remove the tape eventually, we recommend you do this within 30 days of application, to prevent leaving a sticky residue behind. We do NOT recommend the RED tape for seaming BlueTex™ products. The WHITE Vapor Barrier Seam Tape is best for that. If you're looking for insulation repair tape, we recommend our 6" white tape. Description The adhesive on the red tape is pressure-activated and does require firm pressure to adhere well; it can take 30+ days to fully cure to maximum adhesion.
