5 Peaks is a painted wood sculpture carved from the trunk of an aspen tree. It is sculpted in the shape of peaks with accompanying ridges. The unpainted areas along with the airbrushed gradations of color reveal extensive patterns of the aspen's grain. The piece is matte varnished. A french cleat holds it flush to the wall.
