Printed by the Benziger Brothers, Inc. in 1921, No. 1 is the third booklet in Kinkead’s Baltimore Series of Catechisms. An adaptation of the Baltimore Catechism (1885) meant for the furthering children’s education in catholic dogma, this series was prepared and enjoined by the Third Plenary Council of Baltimore and supplemented by the Reverend Thomas L. Kinkead.  The booklet has 47pp. It is in good condition. The pages are intact. The text is clean and legible.  The staples are rusted but appear to be original. The paper cover is worn, curling slightly, stained, and flaking in places but is whole. “These Catechisms of the Baltimore Series are arranged on a progressive plan. [...] The same questions bear the same numbers throughout the series, and their wording identical.  The different sizes of type make the Catechism more suitable to their respective grades; smaller children usually requiring larger print.  Apart from its educational advantages, the progressive plan aims at lessening
