Alder Cones

Pack of Dried Alder Cones 24 pcs. (Cone size ~ approx. 1” ea.) Alder cones release beneficial Humic acid into aquarium water, provide PH buffering, and have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Alder cones will slightly lower PH, and provide natural tan color of aquarium water. Recommendations: - Only add a few cones at a time as the amount of tannins released may vary.  For a 2-gallon Betta fish tank, start by adding 2-6 cones.  After 2-4 weeks most of the tannins will have leached out of the cones and more can be added on a regular basis.  Origin – Massachusetts, USA Benefits: - Slightly lowers PH - Natural tannins and Humic acid will soothe fish and livestock - Reduces accumulation of fungus and bacteria
