Antique 1908 Pocket Prayer Book with Celluloid Covers and Leather Spine

The loveliest antique prayer book with the most stunning celluloid covers, gilded pages, and a spine made out of soft leather… a beautiful contrast to the creamy celluloid. The sweetest pocket size that makes it even more special. I translated some of the words and it seems to be written in Lithuanian. The title translated to “Small Altar”. What a delightful piece of history to add to your collection.  Each found object is vintage, and therefore shows some worn patina from its life adventures. Have fun checking out the photographs.
