The Riley Racecar, dubbed The Gentleman's Racer, hails from Britain. Known for endurance racing, this car was running against Aston Martin in the 1930's. During the 1920s and 1930s Riley cars won the Brooklands Five-Hundred, finished second and third at Le Mans in 1934, won the Tourist Trophy three times in five years, and had a class win in the Monte Carlo Rally. Featured here, a 1933 Riley 9 Racecar, complete with boattail, shows the stunning detail of this endurance racing darling of the 1930's. This 9 hp Brooklands Special was known at the time as, "The Wonder car." And what a wonder this pre-war racecar is. Part of The Heritage Automotive Collection by The Breck Rothage Fine Art Studio, the RILEY 33 Automotive Fine Art is being made available to the public for purchase for the first time in over ten years. This is high-quality automotive art, made for those with a critical eye and discerning standards. AUTHENTICITY:This is a real, 1933 Riley 9 racecar photographed on location
