10004 EMD GP35 (GP39-2), BNSF 2927, Modern Appearance, No-Sound / DCC-Ready, HO

Broadway Limited is thrilled to announce a brand-new production run of our popular EMD GP35 locomotives in HO scale! Ubiquitous on American railroads, the EMD GP35 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD and subsequently General Motors Diesel in the mid 1960’s. Over 1300 of these locomotives were produced, and they were operated by virtually every major railroad in the United States. Addtionally 26 units were built for Canadian railroads and another 57 units were built for Mexican railroads. These freight locomotives were powered by EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engines that generated 2500 horsepower. In this production run, we’re bringing back a few fan-favorite road names and debuting several all-new ones. Returning favorites include BNSF and Union Pacific, while newcomers feature Conrail, Rio Grande, Gulf, Mobile & Ohio, Savannah & Atlanta, and the eye-catching Soo Line Bicentennial scheme. Each locomotive includes newly tooled details to ensure every road name is model
