Shea Butter East African Nilotica Virgin - PLUS KOKUM

Our Shea Nilotica Plus Kokum blend pairs the healing qualities of East African Shea with the skin-sealing properties of Kokum Butter. Kokum contains up to 80% of stearic-oleic-stearic (SOS) triglycerides. This is a unique type of oil, solid at room temperature, with high oxidative stability, and rich in antioxidants. Its emollient properties are known for their ability to help soften skin and restore elasticity, making it a perfect match with East African Shea Butter. Note:  Natural butters and oils may melt during shipping or processing when exposed to high temperatures, and upon cooling they can sometimes re-solidify with a grainy texture or develop a thin white layer known as fat bloom (a harmless separation of fats such as stearic acid). This is a normal occurrence and does not affect the quality of your product.
