The 285 gate valve from Akron Brass features a heavy-duty wedge seat design with a 2 ½-inch inlet, a crank handle and a non-rising stem for easy operation at normal operating pressures up to 250 psi.  The valve requires five turns from the fully closed to the fully open position.
