A fantastic and economical honing and deburring tool, this 8 and 1/2" long ceramic rod is particularly well-suited to final honing of hooked or forward-curved blades. We especially like this rod for removing the burr from spoon knives after sharpening. The only thing wrong with this example is a couple small projections near the middle of the rod that should not interfere with use.
