The great wolf is fiercely independent and undomesticated (for now). They are powerful and much bigger than a husky (who are often confused for wolves). They are the subject of a lot misunderstanding and sometimes outright dislike because they are feared. They are powerful and they can take livestock and hunt deer, and therefore there are some humans who would like to see them erased. You can probably guess I am not one of those humans. My spirit animal is a husky, after all. I do not fear the wolf.The wolf, because of it facing some ugly human behavior, is threatened in some places. Therefore, I chose to paint it with an homage to our planet instead of only the lights specifically. Our ecosystem benefits from them. Of course balance is a critical part of keeping our planet the beautiful place that it is. Eliminating the wild things, scary or not, makes life less valuable. I love wolves.
