Kokum Butter
Our Kokum Butter comes from the seeds of the Kokum tree (Garcinia indica) which are used to produce the natural butter. Kokum butter is refined, resulting in a smooth, dense butter that is white to off-white in color and has a nonexistent odor or very mild. It is believed to promote skin elasticity, prevent skin dryness and restore damaged skin and is suitable for many cosmetic applications. Often used in place of coconut oil in many applications that require the product to melt into skin such as lotions. Helpful Product Information: Kokum butter is solid at room temperature but easily melts on skin. It is often added to lip balms and lotions.
