The mounting bracket extension will increase the height of the standard mounting bracket by 3 1/4". Order this bracket if the top of your trailer hitch receiver is between 9 1/2 inches and 12 inches above the ground. The standard mounting bracket is supplied with your Cansporter and accommodates trailer hitch receivers 12 to 28 inches above the ground.
