- Questions - Your questions perplex meOnly because I can’t keep upAs you stare at meWith the patience you purchaseEvery time you call your mother for adviceI just wish I had answersFor the way you look at meFor the way your hands trace the linesIn between your heart and mineAnd there are many linesEnough to where I can hear your heart in this silenceWhispering the memory of our first kissWishing the distance of that innocence would fadeRestoring the way we used to seeBreathing life into the simplicity of why we fell in loveAnd this is why I love youFor the boldness it takes to tell me you’re never leavingFor the grace with which you pull on the strings of my heartAnd for the questions that remind meOf just how beautiful you are     (NOTE: If you would like to purchase this poem please contact me at jared.s.carlin@gmail.com for personalized pricing and printing options.
