A piece heavily influenced by the Southwest. This statement ring consists of a triangle shaped #8 Turquoise set in a bezel setting with an arrowhead casting by its side as well as a succulent that was cast from a real tiny succulent bud. The ring shank is also a large part of the asthetic of this ring with Thunderbirds flanking each side.  The Number Eight (#8) Turquoise mine in Eureka County north of Carlin, Nevada was discovered in 1925 and first mined in 1929.  At present, the mine is closed to turquoise mining as the mine has long been depleted since 1961 and with limited reserves of this stone in existence, Number 8 turquoise jewelry is one of the most valuable and appreciated stones by collectors. Created as a class sample for my Wild Horse Ring Class, this ring is now available for sale. It has remained unworn.
