3...2...1... IMPACT!

During rut, the Big Horn Rams fight for the right to the ewes in the herd. These two mature Rams were at a point of no return as they hit head on. This is not a slow collision, as they can be traveling up to 40 miles an hour at time of impact. The force and sound when they hit is amazing.  I got the opportunity to experience this "wild" behavior in NW Wyoming. It took several hours to capture this image of the point of no return.
