Winter is a rough time for Elk and other wildlife in the Rocky Mountains. Finding food in deep snow is challenging yet this bull elk takes it all in stride. Yes, this is an artistic image of a large bull elk in a snowstorm created with one of my photos. With filters and a little artistic "magic" it looks more like a painting than a photo.
