Brown & Grey Soda Fired Cat Butt Mug - 16oz

This unique Cat Butt Mug was glaze fired in a soda kiln. This glaze process is more expensive than normal firing, and prices are adjusted to reflect this. 5" tall and holds approx. 16oz. Soda firing is a ceramics technique where pottery is fired with the addition of baking soda.This process creates unique, unpredictable surface effects, including varied colors, textures, and a glossy finish, resulting in distinctive and artistic pieces. The dots on the bottom of the pots are from the wadding used to keep the glaze created by the salt or soda from fusing the pot to the kiln shelf.
