玉面桃花; Yu Mian Tao Hua; Beautiful (Jade-faced) Peach Blossom; Encounter. 'Yu Mian Tao Hua' translates roughly to 'Beautiful Peach Blossom' or 'Encounter' and has soft-pink petals with rose-pink flares surrounding a loose center of golden-yellow stamen and dark-rose stigma. Together, this combination forms a 6" to 7" crown-type, fragrant blossom. 玉面桃花 trees grow to a mature height around 5 feet with a similar spread. The Shandong region of China has been cultivating 'Mudan' (tree peonies) for over three thousand years!
