Cancer Sucks! Hey, it’s Matt, I am a 24-year-old realtor in the Spokane area. My life was severely impacted when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. It is likely that many of you have been impacted by cancer in some way as well. In honor of my mom, I am raising money to donate to the local organization, Cancer Care Northwest. This organization helps local patients and families with their battle against cancer by helping them pay for their medical bills. My mom, Lisa, used to raise thousands of dollars a year to help local families with their battle against cancer. Her most successful and coolest campaign, in my opinion, was selling Cancer Sucks t-shirts. In 2013, my mom passed away from cancer, so it has been nearly 10 years since she raised money for the cause. Now, it’s time I give it a shot to honor her and help our local community.
