A PAPER BAG CHRISTMAS . . . SUNDAY SCHOOL SERIES

  Christmas is extremely important in the life of the church.  Children are wide eyed as the great day approaches.  Even "Ba--Humbug" folks sparkle for The season.  For some church members, programs prepared at church comprise most of their holiday celebration.  What a wonderful opportunity to be part of the excitement! Set up Christmas learning centers in separate areas.  CHRISTMAS "LIVE" is where the weekly Opening and skit takes place.  The Christmas story is told in four parts through the eyes of town gossip "Peeka", personal friend of Mary anD Joseph! PAPER BAG CRAFTS is a an area where tables and chairs are spaced comfortably and supplies are neatly stored. CHRISTMAS TREE CELEBRATION is a 5 minute closing when students place their completed paper ornaments on a lighted tree that is given as a gift to the church family.  Close each week with a quiet Christmas Carol and prayer.
