Bandana

Inspiration Watercolor is usually my go-to method for creating the foundation of a pattern. However, this design was crafted using ink on vellum. I incorporated flowers and dots as a playful way to soften the geometric structure. I wasn’t sure what to name this pattern until my friend Anna Kay at Tracery Interiors mentioned that it looks like a bandana — and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you, AK!
