While this does free up space it also causes another issue. What to do with the gaping holes left unfilled in the privacy cover? Before, the only options were to leave it as is and just have two eyesores or buy a non-BOSE privacy cover if you get lucky used, or pay a fortune for a new one. At last there is now a 3rd option.
