2023 Marigold Beanie

The Marigold Beanie is a knit wool hat made in North Carolina, naturally dyed a golden yellow with locally-grown marigold flowers.  Made within 135 miles through a collaboration of four North Carolina businesses, this award-winning product showcases the strength of community partnerships and local manufacturing. HOW IT'S MADE InnovaKnits knit COLLECTION beanies in Conover, NC. Fonta Flora Brewery grew and harvested marigold flowers at their Whippoorwill Farm in Nebo, NC. Solid State Clothing took those locally grown marigold flowers and processed them into a beautiful natural dye in Burlington, NC, transforming our white beanies into gold. Opportunity Threads sewed branded tags on the brim in Morganton, NC.  By supporting this collaborative project, you contribute to the revitalization of the American textile industry and promote a more sustainable future.
