A Fresh Air Mending & Slow Stitching Circle, Monday, September 29th, 12:30-3p

Join me  Monday, September, 29th 12:30p-3p for a fall afternoon full of community, repairs and fresh air (if it is too cold, we will take our party inside) at my studio, 949a Mirror Lake Road, Yardley, PA Imagine sitting on a blanket in the grass  breathing in the fresh air under a canopy of trees.  Bring any clothing you would like to mend on or embellish along with a blanket, scissors and a needle or two. In the event of rain or cold weather, we will gather in the studio.  What to bring: Bring a favorite shirt & change all the buttons. Add a colorful patch onto a beloved piece of well worn clothing. Maybe sew some sentimental cloth items (ex: children's clothing)  beneath something you wear often, like a skirt. Or bring along a bit of knitting or crochet work,  dog toy in need of repair, some embroidery. Or discuss an idea you have on up-cycling a piece of clothing. Collectively the group is a think tank of ideas and solutions. Bring needlepoint, art journals, canvas....anything
