The concept originated while she was an artist in residence in Paris, where she discovered the art of hosting and arranging a table for the purpose of welcoming family, friends, and loved ones. The term "Domingo" translates to Sunday in Spanish, signifying the day in her hometown of Buenos Aires when people come together with their loved ones to enjoy a shared meal.
