One Dozen Box Adam was a joyful, funny and mischievous 6-year-old when he was diagnosed with an anaplastic astrocytoma, an aggressive brain tumor. He underwent surgery, radiation and chemotherapy at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, facing treatment with courage, humor and strength. Adam loved music, magic and climbing trees. He passed away April 17, 1990, shortly before his 7th birthday, but his shining spirit lives on forever.
