This lovely washed Ethiopian lot comes to us care of our friends at Atlantic Specialty Coffee.  Process: Washed Certifications: Organic Elevation: 1,900–2,100 meters Variety: 74110, 74112, Ethiopia Heirlooms  Harvest Time: November 2024–January 2025 The Duromina Cooperative was formed through funding provided by a Technoserve project that created incredible infrastructure for coffee production in Agaro, Ethiopia. Prior to this, there was no specialty coffee supply chain in Agaro, and the potential for incredible quality was left unfulfilled as producers sold their coffee for low commodity prices and produced low quality coffee. These investments in infrastructure, information around the creation of cooperative business structures, as well as training in harvest and processing practices that create high quality lots, created a new context for coffee and has yielded many economic opportunities for these farmers.
