100 Years of Samiro Yunoki

Trajectory of Creation Samiro Yunoki is a master of stencil dyeing and a former professor at the Joshibi University of Art and Design. This book traces his life and achievements, featuring photographs of Yunoki, his work, and his atelier. It introduces the signature themes of Yunoki's oeuvre. It looks back over a colorful century of life and art while offering insights into his appeal, which remains ever-vibrant to this day. Born in 1922, Yunoki apprenticed under Keisuke Serizawa after being inspired by the Folk Art Movement.
