Starting completely from scratch, they built and scoured. materials and tools that they knew people like themselves (a fashion designer and photographer) would need to make and create in the tradition of craft. Business success required expansion in both space and offerings and two years later they reopened with a studio, an upstairs sewing school, a mezzanine, and a ground floor filled with all the wonderful things needed for sewing and making with a conscious and sustainable ethos. Considering that everything produced, processed, and consumed has an impact on
