Apple-Cheeked Cowgirl

8x10 Oil  When I first met Hannah, I told her she had the perfect look and especially smile for the Retro Cowgirl Series. As I tried to describe that look, she offered, “Apple-Cheeked” and I had to agree. She had heard that before. She was also the perfect model for a Circus Ringmaster, The Goddess of Time, an Aviatrix, a Hollywood Glamour Girl, a Femme Fatale, the Cute Girl Next Door and everything in between. And she was a great collaborator as well with her own ideas and poses. In under six years, I have painted her more than 90 times!
