2 Day Silk Painting Workshop (Johnson 11/15-16)

Join Dallas artist Clara Johnson for a transformative two-day workshop where you’ll unlock the creative possibilities of silk.  Designed for all skill levels, this empowering class will guide you in crafting your unique design by painting on 11” x 60” (long) silk scarves using Jacquard green label dye.   You’ll discover the distinctive qualities of various silk, learn techniques for creating texture, and the delicate balance between spontaneity and control.  Clara will provide most materials freeing you to focus on exploring your artistic vision. Come prepared to unleash your imagination and tap into the liberating joy of dancing with silk and color.
