Perfectly Imperfect Portraits (Garcia Saturday Mornings)

In this class, you’ll learn to draw portraits in a simple, accessible, and confidence-building way. With the instructor’s guidance, you’ll discover how to break down a face into basic shapes and use essential drawing concepts to feel more at ease when creating. This workshop is designed to help you see real results, even if portraits usually feel intimidating. Through clear exercises and easy-to-apply techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create expressive, well-constructed portraits without the pressure of making them “perfect.” The goal is for you to leave with more confidence, better tools, and the genuine feeling that you can draw portraits you’re proud of. Requirement: Please bring at least six printed images of different people you’d like to draw. Make sure the images are large and clear.
