Offering candles to Eros: Greek god of love and desire. He plays a significant role in various myths, including the tale of his own love affair with Psyche. In this story, Eros falls in love with Psyche, a mortal woman. She was exceptionally beautiful, so much so that people began to worship her instead of the goddess Aphrodite, arousing the jealousy of the goddess of love.
